Channing Johnson is a corporate and securities lawyer, with a concentration in the media, technology, entertainment, and hospitality sectors. He has extensive experience advising public and private companies in a variety of industries, including music, film and television production, financing and distribution, manufacturing, retail, online commerce, software and venture capital, and private equity.

His entertainment and media clients are involved with all means of content distribution and financing and seek his legal advice in connection with securities issuances, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and financing agreements, production agreements, publishing and co-publishing agreements, co-branding and sponsorship deals, and high-end talent contracts, among others. 

Aside from his client practice, Channing is a member of the Loeb & Loeb’s governing body, its Board of Partners, and is co-chair of the firm’s Partnership Admissions Committee and its Diversity Committee. In this role, he collaborates with firm leadership and dedicated Affinity Groups to establish strategies aimed at advancing diversity and inclusion within the firm, ultimately bolstering the firm's inclusive culture. Outside of Loeb, Channing serves as Chairman of 1Community, an entertainment production and co-finance company using the power of storytelling to drive real-world social impact, and as Chairman of Burrell Communications Group (the oldest black-owned advertising agency).
